About the Book

Persistence Equals Success (My Journey to Motherhood) is a candid and courageous memoir about breaking barriers, defying expectations, and refusing to give up. Seema’s story begins in a traditional Indian household in Canada, where girls were expected to marry young and education was discouraged. But her drive to chart her own course led her through academic achievement, legal training, and ultimately, a life built on her own terms. This book explores the emotional terrain of infertility, the complexities of international surrogacy, and the transformative experience of adoption. Through heartbreak, hope, and hard-won triumphs, Seema shares how persistence became her greatest strength — not just in building a career, but in becoming a mother. For anyone facing adversity, questioning tradition, or searching for inspiration, this memoir offers a powerful reminder: resilience isn’t just a trait — it’s a choice.
